Memo to my fellow politicians: Drop the Procrustean policies and allow harmony to invade the public mindset. Fairness will happen, and bitterness will fade away.

Dude, what country do you think you live in?

I mean, he could have some points in here, but they were either approached TOTALLY the wrong way, or ... something. Yeah, those numbers are really fucked up, IMO, but approaching it from the angle of WAAAH THOSE BLACK FOLKS GET EVERYTHING really decimates his point.

Yep, because they love to pretend this country is one of total equality for everyone from birth, and if you're poor/disadvantaged, it's all your fault.

Er...yes. People do deny those things. I could give you at least one example every day of ableist privilege I actually experienced that day. And people really do like to think that their actions are 'fair' or that accommodating my needs is 'special treatment', both denial tactics.
