Sharron Angle is a special flavor of crazy. Republicans pretty much guaranteed Harry Reid would keep his seat by letting her win.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious no Democrat is actually going to win this November on the merits of their platform. Thank the good lord for Sharron Angle.

This will be really close, though. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Angle wins. There is not a single Democratic strategist left in America that I trust to run a competent campaign.

Reid seemed like a sure goner. Unemployment in Nevada was sky high. The bad economy had especially damaged Nevada's tourism base. (The latest statistics this morning show an unemployment rate of 14.2%.) The state's voters seemed very unhappy with the Senate Majority Leader.

So because Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-NV) is doing a shitty job running your state, that's Harry Reid's fault, and the solution is to vote in another Republican senator. I see.
