My senior school R.E. teacher died of it - really awful.

I mean, cancer in all forms is awful, but throat cancer just sounds horrific. A couple of relatives on my step dads side of the family have had it, and a couple died. Just horrible.

Actually apparently you can get liver cancer without drinking! My great grandmother got it.

Yeah, he seems to have been looking more than a little rough. I mean, both of them never seem to look on top form, but Christopher Hitchens has looked noticeably worse.
