I am so emo today, that's the second time I've teared up already!

I love to see actively elderly people getting higher qualifications. When I graduated my MA last year (PS I am way older than your average grad) there was a man who was, at that time, the oldest graduate of my university, and he was 82 I think. It was amazing because the entire town hall just went mad when he got his degree handed to him.

A lady who was finishing her MA at the same time as I was starting mine has started her PhD and I know for a fact she is 70.
