McCain's efforts are valiant but no one will ever top Sprio Agnew's rant against the nabobs of negativity.

i love the idea of Huckabee secretly working behind the scenes to stop Romney from being Veep. that's so manipulative and underhanded and sneaky. Huckabee is like a super villain or something. it's probably not true, though.

John Podhoretz makes the case for Lieberman, arguing McCain no longer needs to shore up his base and can win over moderates with the former Democratic veep nominee.

i have no idea who this person is but he is 100 percent wrong. the base is NOT shored up and picking anyone who isn't a certified, grade A conservative will ensure that he loses soundly to Obama. (this of course means my pal Huckabee is out).

During that meeting McCain's campaign has with NBC, oodles of money will be put on the table and pushed towards the network followed by a wink. A day later you will have news anchors praising McCain for being a wholesome American and having a great energy policy
