I don't see us getting buddy-buddy with Russia, and we'll never live in a world without nuclear weapons, but this is a good step forward.

The hooked-hand is the bane of all lefties. My parents broke me of the habit early, jerking my hand to the appropriate position that leads to the least-amount of smearing.
