I don't think this was targeted at Obama or his family.
It hasn't even been connected to anything political yet, other than two of those shot were part of the Pentagon Force--but they might have been off duty, they might have just been on duty in the Metro...

I know it hasn't. It's just that we have seen SO MUCH crazy "patriotic" crimes committed lately that it frightens me and gives me a bad, bad feeling.

Yeah, I was certain Obama wasn't going to make it through his Inauguration speech, let alone the election, and I still worry. I'm constantly worried he'll be assassinated.
But I don't think this particular crime was necessarily political.
