That law always pissed me off, and it was horribly discriminatory. I hope it gets lifted.

YES PLEASE.

It makes sense that I can't give blood due to the fact that I lived in europe for more than six months when I was a child. This ban however is ridiculous.

I just got riled over this today when I gave blood during lunch because I was asked if I'd ever had sex with a man who's had sex with a man (Yes, gay men are totes into chubby white girls), and the question was "Are you a male who has had sex with a male EVEN ONCE?".

NEWFLASH: Not *ALL* gay men get HIV/AIDS, and not *JUST* gay men get HIV/AIDS.

And also, how should you know? I highly doubt most people know every partner that every partner they've had had. (Not sure that sentence is right.)

It's about time this law gets lifted. Not only is it discriminatory as hell, but it also endangers the lives of people that need blood.
