This is really interesting. It would go a along way towards the "get rid of the electoral college" notion and create better representation as well.

Ehhh, I'm okay with living in Southern New England, especially if it means we can give people more shit for not following Boston sports (esp. the Red Sox). Unless *squints* no, I'm still just close to Northern New England. Nothing new.

All of Maine is still contained within one state, so~
And hey! North New England is a way better name than 'Great Basin,' though I think 'Bitterroot' has everyone beat.
