That's all nice and good for those of you in states that won't opt out.

Texas senate overrode Perry on the stimulus money, they can override him on health care.

That's my thinking, too. Those grandstanding about opting out will end up having their bluffs called, just like the stimulus.

Fair enough, but I'll believe it when I see it. I still think the opt-out is a cop out.

So what is this gonna mean for states that opt out of it compared to states that opt into it, I wonder.

Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) won't commit to cloture

Oh FUCK A DUCK fucking Dems arghlenavbafekrbxgsjhg2^%$@!! You know if this was a Republican strategy the repubs would be falling in line like dominoes. Frigging Dems who won't toe the line fuck argh!

Damn I hate my party sometimes.

Well, let's hope it works anyway. Congrats on a very canny move, Sen Rieid.

It says she hasn't committed but that doesn't mean she WON'T. Keep holdin' on to faith bb.

But also, emails.

Yeah. "I won't commit" in Legispeak means "bribe me". She's probably just holding out so they'll sweeten the deal for her.

Call her office bb and let her know you are paying very close attention to her vote on this, and you strongly support the bill AND the public option.

This is genius. With so many Gubernatorial elections coming up, there's no way Republican's can justify opting out. Plus, I heard originally Medicare had the opt-out option and zero chose it. This is a happy day!
