If the dems seriously don't get their shit together with a motherfucking supermajority (true, we're missing Ted, but still), I will hold it against them for the rest of my life as "The Reason I Never Joined the Democratic Party."

Crissakes, we're still letting the conservatives run the show, even when (supposedly) only around 1/3 of the general public considers themselves republicans at the moment. Ugh ugh ugh. If this isn't the time, then good lord, I hope it's the time when the republicans don't exist anymore, dems have become the right wing, and the new progressive party actually gets shit done for the liberals of this country for fucking once.
