lmao, exactly. People are so used to far-right politicians, they have lost sense of perspective. Obama IS center-right. He's not a lefty by any stretch of the imagination.

The only possible reason Brooks likes Obama is that Obama, in Brooks' mind, has moved to the right, bent over backwards to be bipartisan, has disavowed his base, and has generally become more like a Republican. Otherwise, Brooks would be attacking him as just another old-fashioned librul leftist radical dirty fucking hippie. And, Brooks is not entirely wrong.
