I feel like when I listen to Franken you can't really hear how genuine and not-yet-jaded he is. It's refreshing.

Exactly, it's like HE'S SAYING WHAT WE'RE ALL THINKING. Probably because he knows the Republicans are gonna attack him no matter what, so he's just gonna do what he wants.

I think a lot of people didn't know about Klobuchar before the last few months but if being the ONE senator didn't raise her profile, I don't know what will!

She has the highest approval rating of any Senator, according to PPP, haha.

I had the same feeling when he was talking about net neturality. Like, HOLY CRAP SOMEONE'S ASKING A FUTURE SUPREME COURT JUDGE ABOUT NET FRICKIN' NEUTRALITY, WOAH.

omg at one point (I think during Specter's statement) Hatch leaned over and started whispering to Sessions. I was like "NO YOU DIDN'T!" Sheesh didn't these people go to high school?

That guy in the background looking like ;__; is so funny. When Coburn was talking there was a girl with a low-cut yellow/gold top behind him. It was so distracting.

Argh, people should not wear bright colors to these things. Some girl was wearing a freaking red & yellow summer dress behind Jared Bernstein during one of his hearings and I could not for the love of me pay attention to what he was saying.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Are they staffers? Because C Street jokes aside, I have a hard time believing Tom Coburn hires go-go girls, or Jared Bernstein relies on models from Forever 21 to crunch numbers.
