What a horribly written article. We get it. You like adjectives.

Besides that when I was in TN visiting a friend and her family, the lack of health care available to them was appalling.

I will never understand why Americans resist universal health care. This is just an awful situation, oh my god.

The majority need to make their voices heard and clearly say they will not vote for someone who tries to block universal health care. That'll change their damn minds. If the teabaggers can protest, so can these people. RISE UP!

But... but... but if we have socialized medicine, rich people might have to wait in line like these pathetic plebeians! The thought alone is enough to make me clutch my pearls!

This is just...utterly depressing. If anything, this makes me absolutely grateful for the health care here (I'm Canadian). I can't imagine what it would be like to suddenly have health care being privatized, or even have a public and private health care like what Ralph Klein wanted to do since that could bring a very nasty precedence. Also makes me want to shove all those whiners here to the US and make them live there for a year without being able to go back to Canada until then.

The Republican'ts have been running a tv spot here in Texas. It has a Canadian woman, Shona Holmes, telling us how she would be dead if she had depended on the Canadian system. I'm curious; what do you think about this:

Did some research on Shona Holmes and the whole thing is BS. The so called life-threatening brain tumor is actually Rathke's Cleft Cyst. I'm no medical expert, but from what I've read on it, it's not life-threatening at all and she basically went to the States just 'cause she didn't want to wait in line. You can read it more here:
