You know... one of my very best friends I've known since I was 12 forwarded me some bullshit e-mail about how SP was far more qualified than BO because OBVIOUSLY she had the nuclear codes because of her proximity to Russia. And some other crap intertwined in there about "real Muslims".

I realize this girl is married to a church-going Texan, but believe me when I tell you, unfortunately that I haven't been able to talk to her since. I keep thinking when things calm down I may be able to have a civil conversation with her... I wonder when that will be?

I live in a red state (TX) and Sarah Palin's appearance in the campaign caused a big rift in the family. My mom and stepdad thought Palin was ridiculous and stupid. Some other relatives LOVED - I mean, LOVED - her. When my mom made some joke about Palin this other relative's response was, "But she has a special needs child!!!" And then she said they should never, ever talk again, and slammed the phone down.

Of course, a different family crisis (medical) brought everyone back together again, but, yeah. Palin can bring out the crazy in people.

Yeah, living in TX is a lot different than living in L.A. I'm sure. I found just being there for 2 weeks meant that I had to watch my mouth. Sorry about your family thing.

That woman is so polarizing. One of the funniest things is that some racist people had to vote for Obama or abstained completely because they were petrified what would happen if McCain were to die.

People can love her all they want. Just not as holding the highest office in the land.

And... of course she's inviting memes and photoshops and everything the internet has to offer with her fancy lawyerin'. You'd think any of her kids (except the baby) would tell her what she'd just done to herself.
