Did anyone notice the grinning black woman at his press conference? She was awesome. At first she was all "God, this is going to be dull" and then the second he mentioned that he was having an affair, she couldn't hold back her smile.
When I saw his wife on the news this morning she looked like she was trying to look like this woman OR already shared a strong resemblance with this woman. Wavy hair, tan. Seemed like he was practically in love with the same woman, only one of them came with an accent.
so typical-duplicate spouse without the stress.txvoodooJune 26 2009, 22:22:33 UTC
People who have affairs often, surprisingly, go for the same "type" again. I've seen this SO MANY TIMES.
It always surprises the wronged spouse. They think "but...he/she is like me! Why did you have to do it? I'm right here!"
They don't realize that it's not only about appearance. Often, the person wants the same type - just someone who doesn't have the baggage. After years of marriage, your moments alone together are tinged with mundane things - bills, housekeeping, etc. Being with someone who is still physically your type, but who doesn't care if you've taken out the trash, or helped do the laundry, or paid the bills, is a way of 'having it all'
