I used to actually have some respect for Rice. I guess the only Bush cabinet member worth respecting is still Powell. I can understand why he bailed.

Funny, I always hated Rice as much as Cheney. God, she always sounded like she was lying through her teeth and condescending.

...the more I'm convinced that when 9-11 hit, these people literally lost their minds in a real 'no longer completely conneced to sanity or reality' sense. Everything they did seems to have required a serious mental disconnect, and everything they're doing now seems like desperate denial.

Not that I think they deserve the insanity defense.
