That wasn't a problem when we were writing checks for billions of dollars to defense contractors for Iraq. If we want to save money, we should stop with the defense spending, or at least cut it waaaay down.
Oh but see war is ok to Republicans. Spending trillions on killing and freeing the "infidels" is great, but our own country NO WAY!
And to show their outrage. They are having tantrum "tea party" protests. Hmmm why didn't they do that when trillions of their tax dollars were spent on Iraq?
I commented on one of his articles last week. I told him to stop bitching and just take a job with the administration if he knew all the answers. I like Krugman a lot, but he is annoying me. Time for him to take all that talk to work.

It is better to send too many troops into battle, than too little.
Paul Krugman-Dean Baker-James K. Galbraith-Doug Henwood, all economists that are called "liberal," seem to be in consensus on this.
