The more I hear about the plan, the less I like it.

paul krugman is too emotional to be an economist. i can't imagine him actually working in politics. it just wouldn't work. the man needs a chill pill.

He can sit on the sidelines, ignore politics as a whole, and scream at the top of his lungs.

While I understand Krugman's concern, I don't see any real solutions in his commentaries.

Also, if the rumors are true that he did turn down the Obama Administration twice to be a part of it then shame on him.

Do you read Krugman regularly? He's been pretty clear about his preferred solutions:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/23/opinion/23krugman.html

and who the hell knows if Obama offered a job to him? There sure weren't any leaks about it back when he was first planning his economic team. Sounds like some Dean-for-SG-esque revisionism (which, granted, I fell for! they know my weak spots, dammit).

I do read Krugman a lot. I do know he was saying a lot of things before everyone else was about all this mess. I do know he has ideas but mostly I think he spends a lot of criticizing while sitting on the sidelines.

I don't know if Obama asked him that is why I mentioned "rumors" I have no idea what is really going on with Krugman and Obama. I wish I did and I wish they were working together to fix this mess.

I just get very frustrated seeing a lot of these pundits taking shots at Obama while not doing anything constructive to fix the problems.

yeah part of my annoyance is seeing people on these blogs who have never heard of Krugman before now, acting like he just popped out of nowhere to criticize Obama... he had a post the other day about people complaining that he hadn't criticized Bush enough for the past eight years!!

But yeah I do wish he would enter government and help, serve his country and all that.

I'm wondering if I thought of it because i've seen Watchmen x22929383 times at work or if that's my first thought when I see the word "despair". hmmm.

It's literally one of two poems from the romantics I actually enjoy reading. I just had it beat to death in my british lit course and a little part of me died inside. I haven't seen Watchmen yet, unfortunately.
