Does anyone else feel there's a problem with relying on Iran and Syria to complete the transition to democracy in Iraq? I understand that Iraq's neighbours are more likely to be well-received there, however I don't feel that those two governments are particularly trustworthy in this case.
I disagree with most forms of violence, and was a loud opponent of this war before it began, but I kinda think that once you're in, you had better make sure that the job's done before you leave... or else it'll come back and bite you on the ass.
