They did this in Iowa. I think it's stupid, personally. A lot of restaurants were already smoke free. I think people who make these rules forget that some people are, oh I don't know, addicted?

As a Virginian, I'm thrilled. I'm allergic, too. They don't have to smoke, but I do have to breathe.

I don't think that restaurants should conform to people's addictions tbh.

i used to be so anti-smoking ... and then i started smoking. but at the same time, i still feel bad when i smoke around non-smokers. i try to blow the smoke in the other direction, or stand down-wind, because i know just how much i hated second-hand smoke ... in fact, i still do. i really can't stand it when other smokers blow in my face, but whatever.

and even though, yeah, i'm addicted, too, you have to remember that we started smoking in the first place, so even though we're addicted, we have the option of quitting, and had the option to not start in the first place. idk, i figure people have the right to complain if they were smart enough not to pick the habit up.

If our legislatures took people's addictions into account when they make laws, addicts would be able to shoot heroin in the streets.

Way to go, Tim!
