Man for a moment there I thought they went all out and BANNED SMOKING IN VIRGINIA ALTOGETHER. Then I read the story. Which is kinda lackluster compared to my initial reaction, what since this should be done in all 50 states. =\

I agree. It's time to make it nationwide, people!

They did this in Iowa. I think it's stupid, personally. A lot of restaurants were already smoke free. I think people who make these rules forget that some people are, oh I don't know, addicted?

Shrug. They can go outside and have a puff then. If I'm enjoying a nice meal at a restaurant the last thing I want is have to deal with the smell of cigarette smoke.

They can't--you have to be 10 feet away from any entrance. It's possible in some instances, but not always.

They also made one exception--right now, you CAN smoke in casinos. Which is fucked up.

I'm not understanding how having to be 10 feet from an entrance means you can't go outside to smoke.

I'm shocked. I really didn't think this would happen (Washington legislative gridlock ain't got shit on the Virginia General Assembly), but I utterly hate having to be around cigarette smoke. It's more than fine by me.

Me, too. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the headline. I thought it would never happen.
