To be fair, it is difficult to do much/get anywhere in Serbia without having connections. The corruption is pretty deeply intrenched in every single public system.

And what happens when we have a semi-decent anti-corrpution politician? He gets assasinated of course :(

To be completely honest, it's not just Serbia - it's an Eastern European thing. I guess people can blame it on Communism just like anything else.

Cousin Dragan appeared again in Friday's Blic, saying his famous relative still owns some land in the village so "he can come to Serbia if he cannot take it any more in America."
