Foes of stem cell research now face tough battle

When the Bush presidency ends, opponents of embryonic stem cell research will face a new political reality that many feel powerless to stop.

I saw a picture of a rat with an ear growing out of its back in a textbook. Not all stem cells produce human embryos. I wish the public were more educated about this stuff.

Good. I went to a Catholic high school and heard soooo much about how stem cell research was evil ("Scientists pay women to have late-term abortions so they can suck out their unborn souls sweet baby cells!"). Then I went to college and learned about the realities and possibilities of stem cell research. Go science!
