John Spencer was absolutely phenomenal in this show. Just, OMG. I just finished 701 (The Ticket) and JUST. SIGH.

I've been rewatching TWW from the very beginning all the way through, and I'm in the middle of season 4 now. I miss this show like hell.

Episodes 1-8 of S4 were AMAZING. AMAZING.

You should start at the beggining if you like 6 and 7 and maybe even if you don't. Because while the last two seasons are good, they don't compare to the first five.

Absolutely.

S1-4 were "the Sorkin years", and I for one truly believe that they are the best four years of television in, like, ever. S3 and S4 were just GOLD, IMO.

They were!!

It's funny - the other seasons aren't as golden - but they were STILL better than 90% of what ELSE was on tv. It's just that the Sorkin years shown soooooo brightly.

Every time my "Bible"-thumping, Jew/Arab/gay-bashing, Harry-Potter-is-Satan stepmother makes some ignorant bigoted comment, this scene is what I think of, because it's the level of fucking awesome ownage I could only dream of hitting her with. (Assuming she'd stay put long enough for me to finish the first sentence.)
