In Lieberman's defense, he ran as an Independent, not a Democrat; the Democratic nominee lost even though (I'm pretty sure) Lieberman had already been speaking highly of the war.

ALSO it would be really funny if Shays lost his seat and NE's congressmen were all Democrats (/Independents), but idk if it will happen because his district is like supremely rich. ANYBODY LIVE DOWN THERE, IDK WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HIM

I have never and will never like Joe Lieberman.

I think, had Gore picked someone more inspiring and charismatic, he may have snuck out the win in 2000.

Well, that and had he not succumbed to pressure and gave his wife that awkward wtf kiss.

In a way, Bush is both a blessing and a curse. A curse, because.. well. The obvious. A blessing, because it exposes the right wing conservatives for their bullshit along with all this negative "us versus them" bullshit.
