The benefits of breast vs. formula feeding can be debated all the live-long day, but when you're actively trying to get poor women to spend their money on your product, which depends on sanitary conditions that are not always available, there's no debate. Nestle as a whole is a horrifically awful company (see also: unethical chocolate sourcing and the California Water Debacle), and I won't buy anything from them.
I really think the breast milk vs. formula debate has sometimes gone too far (e.g. I remember hearing about women who felt they were being/had been shamed for not being able to breast feed).
