As a Russian living in United States, I have watched with certain morbid fascination bordered on terror at how readily more than a few left-wingers are to accept Russian government propaganda at face value. It's like "you realize United Russia apparatus are right-wing nationalist with Imperialist ambitions, right?"

Which isn't quite what OP wrote about, but given the aforementioned phenomenon, I wonder just how seriously the people this was aimed for would take this warning.
