I had a pretty good weekend, all things considered. I had a bad DREAM last night though. I dreamt that a friend who lives in a different city said to me, "I want us never to speak again. You invite me to do things in [your city] every single day and you keep coming to my house and I want us to be strangers." I'm paraphrasing, of course. I'm shaken up by the dream, even though IRL this friend has been perfectly warm to me whenever I reach out.
Everytime I think of Robert E. Lee, I remember a joke my 6th grade history teacher shared with us.
He said he was speeding one day in Georgia and the police officer stopped him. SO the police officer makes a comment and was like "Wow, I never saw someone drive so fast through Georgia", and my teacher with a thick northern accent (from New York but tried had that yuppie accent) was like "....heh, Ever heard of General Sherman?" And he went to Jail for 1 day ...
