Not much happened this weekend. It rained all around us but not actually here. Ugh. I hate it when rain POURS on everyone else but us. Its like we are in some sort of vortex that repels rain. Slept most of yesterday away. Periods suck.
That is fucked. I know this is way late, but i have been offline for 3+ weeks and am catching up. Personally, i would just forget the job, but i am lucky enough to be senior enough in my career i have that luxury, you may not... That's something only you know.
What shocks me about this story and why i am answering late is because it was HR acting this way. This is really, really problematic and exactly the opposite of what HR is there for. HR should be the best-behaved department of a company, they should set the standard for everyone else. I can't believe a major company like Home Depot would be okay with this, and if you have the energy for it i would definitely try to get a message to the top. They seriously need to clean house if this is what is going on.
