A group of around 10 people took off their clothes, killed a sheep and chained themselves together next to the infamous "Arbeit Macht Frei" gate at Auschwitz. Their motives were not immediately clear.

And you know, they may have had the best of intentions -- something like "we memorialize the slaughter of millions of innocent human beings as though they were sheep, and we believe in the triumph of love over hatred" -- but in a place as sensitive as this, you need to make your intentions crystal-clear.

Or maybe they just felt like doing something weird and dramatic. Twentysomethings....

Frankly, it comes off as weird and dramatic. It's not at all clear what they intended, so it sounds more like some bizarre frat party joke than any actual, real protest.
