going to Seattle show as well. they haven't been my favorite band since Alan left (i was on the BONG mailing list and everything), but i haven't missed a tour since my first one (Devotional in 1993).

Me, too! DM is an amazing concert band. Even back in the nosebleeds, their energy is palpable. I was so excited when I heard a new album was coming out, because that meant there was also a tour coming. :D

His daughter sounds like she's into current events and passionate about what she believes in. Young people like her give me hope for the future.
I didn't sob like she did on election night when the results were clear. I did have this cold, almost freezing, sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach and for a short time, denial. I didn't have a good night either.
Edited to say: People Are People is one of my favorite songs of all time.
