I read about this when the news first came out and was really shocked. This is after the execution of the uncle just a few years ago. One article I read discussed various (seeming) purges in the country but it's hard to be sure of what is going on there, apparently.
This regime is truly frightening. Add to that the current US administration's belligerence and the whole recipe is not conducive to sleeping at night (particularly for South Korea).
