It amazes me how Trump and his supporters simultaneously claim that the ban is only a 'minor inconvenience' for those affected, but also think that if the ban is removed, all hell will break loose.
I know, it's incredibly contradictory. But every other word he says conflicts with something else he's said, so in that sense, it's quite consistent with all his other inconsistencies, lol!
In Trumpworld, the cardinal rules seem to be that consistency is irrelevant,contradictions are meaningless, and there is no distinction between what's true and what isn't--and I'm not even almost joking about that!
He's learning real fast that he cant just do whatever the fuck he wants as president. Then he throws tantrums like a toddler who was just told they cant have anymore juice.
seeing how this played out is honestly the only thing that relieved my anxiety since inauguration day. i know every day for the (WORST CASE) next four years is very likely gonna be a fucking fight we've got to be ready to show up for, but it was - if only for a moment - a chance to exhale and say "okay, we're not completely fucked. yet."
