going to walmart today. hopefully the store will be mostly empty due to people staying home to watch that guy get you know what.

I went ice skating with my husband and kids yesterday. It was the literal best, and something out of a great feel-good flick. Even the music was something out of a rom-com. Just what we needed on the last day of rationality.

That first few glides on the ice made my face break out in the best smile. It was just what I needed. :)

We just did this, too, so I identify. The kids are still wobbly on their skates, but at the same time it is just the stability we need when we can grasp it.

That's exactly it. A perfect afternoon with family. Some sort of normalcy when everything else is falling apart.
