I went to the Our First Stand: Save Our Health Care rally this afternoon. It was cold and standing for that long really fucked up my ankle, but the number of people who showed up was pretty amazing.

It was my birthday yesterday (it's Monday here) and I had a nice, quiet one shopping, eating brunch and watching a movie. I already celebrated with my friends last week and on Saturday, so I was happy to just chill out and have some me time.

Also, I did a beauty haul from my favorite store because I had a 40% off coupon for my birthday and I swear the best thing I bought was a konjac stone. My skin has never felt so good omg.

See I have no self control buying books either, but I also cannot imagine giving it away. I am weird about even lending my books because the person may dog ear a page or put a dent in the spine by folding it back.
