The election of His Majesty the Oompa Loompa does have its up side. A lot of people, including me, no longer feel compelled to support a party that supports and pats itself on the back for measures that have historically disempowered individuals and communities. Let both the Democrats and the Republicans have the rude reminder that the reason they supported progressive regulation was to quell the constant and even violent public disorder that was growing in response to industrial capitalism's inequalities in justice and economics. I despise Trump and everyone surrounding him, but that doesn't automatically mean the Democrats can keep pretending to be my savior.

We're doomed. Nancy Pelosi doesn't think Democrats need to change. It's all about fundraising for them. Like, Hillary raised more money than Trump and she STILL lost.

I see Democrats holding onto the fact that Hillary won the popular vote as reason why they don't need to change. Also fake news and the Russian hacking.

So pretty much they're going to focus on fundraising the next 4 years and we're going to lose in 2018 and 2020.

Democrats are losers. Obama was an anomaly. If they try to make Cory Booker or, even worse, Tim Kaine, their guy in 2020 then they're making a mistake.
