Thanks for posting about this. As an NC native (though I'm currently attending grad school in another state), I've been following this story closely. I'm SO ready for McCrory to be gone. I am worried that Cooper won't be able to do much aside from vetoing the legislature's dumb ideas, but even that's better than nothing.

"Voter fraud" is just a distraction from all the voter suppression going on in the red states. And you can bet there's going to be more voter suppression coming our way now that that Tangerine Turd will be in power.

And come on... 9,700 votes is a pretty comfortable margin to win by. I don't even live in North Carolina but I want him out of office. I just hope he doesn't decide to run for US Congress or something. Ugh.

FOR REAL. And it seems that it's Republican candidates that benefit more from voter fraud now than anyone. The only case of recent voter fraud in Wisconsin came from a guy voting for Scott Walker. And there was that woman in Iowa who was busted voting twice for Trump because she thought that they would change her ballot to Clinton (if that were the case, what would stop them from changing her second ballot, too?). And IIRC, one of Marco Rubio's pals, David Rivera, was busted running a straw candidate for his old House seat and had allegedly run some truck carrying flyers for his opponent off the road or something like that. (I don't think Rivera has been arrested himself IRT the straw candidate, but it's heavily alleged that he was involved and the straw candidate himself was actually arrested.)
