wow. thank you for this post, OP; i admit i've been so caught up in what's happening here that i'd heard little to nothing about what was happening there.

not even sure what to say, just...what a time to be alive.

I'm always impressed and amazed when such massive protests occur. And distressed when, even in the face of such overwhelming popular feeling, those in power refuse to step down. Regardless of what happens, though, South Koreans are showing the world what is possible when the people come out into the streets together.

No problem :) I had no idea how the process went until I heard a detailed explanation on jtbc (a cable channel who have been doing excellent journalism and heading the investigation into this whole fiasco) and I realized most people probably wouldn't know much about it like me.
