Religious leaders in California are calling for a police investigation after identical letters were sent to local mosques hailing President-elect Donald Trump and calling for death to Muslims.

The San Francisco Bay Area chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) released a statement

yet the media is already kissing trump's ass. we all know what white people were voting for when they chose trump, yet there is no indication that trump wants to denounce the neonazis who support him. it's the same reason people voted brexit. they thought they were voting to deport every single non-white person in the country.

I'm glad that the political leaders in CA are standing up against trump, but yeah, the number of hate incidents (i've seen multiple reports of racist & homophobic attacks) in the state since the election is really horrifying.

After the election, I implored my Trump-voting relatives to denounce the white supremacists who have taken Trump's victory as an endorsement of their ideology. Not a one even responded, except for an ancient uncle who angrily asked "What's that got to do with me?"

Apparently, what the Trumpster extremists say and do is fine by the Trumpster "silent voters". I have only encountered, online or in daily life, 1 Trump voter who, strongly and in no uncertain words, denounced white nationalism.
