Thank you for this, OP. I am very pleased with how much AJ covers indigenous American issues. I wish AJA hadn't shut down, because I feel like they would have been a good source for theses issues.

The native population is treated so terribly, and I feel as though people think they don't exist anymore. They are still here, and they deserve MAJOR reparations.

They certainly do deserve major reparations. It's just horrible that they are constantly ignored in this way.

Just BTW, if you're interested, two good sources for indigenous people's issues in Canada, are the 'Aboriginal People's Television Network' or APTN (http://aptn.ca/) and the CBC (http://www.cbc.ca/news). (APTN will also cover news affecting indigenous peoples in the U.S. -and even elsewhere in the world on occasion.)
