Yes, I saw this earlier, and...yes. The contrast between them couldn't have been made clearer, and the actual policies are just the tip of the iceberg.

And yet somehow the debate convinced my brother-in-law, who wasn't willing to vote for either candidate since he loathes them both, that Trump has his vote because of how "well" he did in the debate and solidly hit the issues my brother-in-law finds important.

Flummoxed, I am.

Actually, he wasn't. We've had many talks and he's tortured himself over and over because it's been such a hard decision for him. He went back and forth on it quite a bit, and the other day he told me not to worry, he wasn't voting for Trump. Then, the debate.

However, I think I talked him out of it. We talked via Facebook earlier and he asked the question that I think helped turn him around on it. He asked what my husband would tell him (my husband died last November), and I told him he'd be calling him all sorts of things that equate to being an idiot and ream him left, right, and sideways for even entertaining the notion of voting for a Trump presidency.

I think that helped. He didn't confirm it in so many words, but he definitely left me with that impression. I hope he sticks with that, although I really believe he will.

I didn't watch the debate but I watched the video of Hillary comparing what she was doing vs what Trump was doing for the past 30 years and holy shit, she scalped him so hard not even that live squirrel on his head can save him. I feel like she's fulfilling all women's wish to shut ignorant, belligerent men up in a classy, professional way, so good on ya Hills.
Side note, but Bernie just posted this on his FB in response to Paul Ryan's comments about him taking over if Hillary wins and I am legit cackling. Happy he's emphasizing downticket voting, hope everyone on _p goes out to vote! (I totally would if I was American, but alas..)

Seriously, what's with this troll onslaught? And more importantly, who can take a look at everything Trump has said and done and then say Clinton is the one who should die? Honestly I don't care if they're trolling, I'm completely grossed out by these priorities. Kind of relieved to see the mods responding to these types of comments.
