As has been mentioned everywhere RBG was besties with Scalia. it's not all that ridiculous that they had somethings in common besides being supreme court justices.

I still don't get why it's disrespectful. Disrespectful towards whom? The victims of police brutality, which he is protesting about, are US citizens as well. HE has every right.

Let me see if I've got her position straight here. Kaepernick has a Constitutional right to this, or flag-burning, or various other forms of protest, but this form of protest isn't particularly wise or effective aimed at this particular target ( ... )

Police brutality and racism is part of American culture. Flag represents American and our culture. It doesn't matter if there aren't laws that say 'yes, it's okay to kill black people if you are the police and they don't listen to you'. It's a part of the culture represented by the flag.

With how much people are talking about him and these issues, and they way it has spread, it seems to be pretty effective.

It's been interesting to watch the internet reaction to this, since some people seem to have only two settings- either "YASSSS, QUEEEEENNNN!" or "OMG, SHE IS THE WORST PERSON EVER!" rather than the more obvious answer that people can be complicated and even people who have done good works can really miss the mark on some issues.
