So, Hillary Clinton has been campaigning with pneumonia for a bit. Today, she finally gave in to it and had a near-fainting episode, at a remembrance ceremony for 9/11

I turned on the news this morning and wanted to flip the TV. How can people live with themselves and be part of the parade of bullshit. I hate that this story is covered from an angle of conspiracy, or like she should be disqualified for being sick.

This is all having the desired effect, though. Some of the most liberal friends of my - who just happened to be Berni supporters - are now harping about how this just another reason why Hillary Clinton is so disappointing. Basically blaming her for being dodgy and 'adding' to the distrust.

Honestly, I've never seen democrats as butthurt as the Bernie or Bust supporters; For the record, I don't mean all Bernie voters, the grand majority were able to get over themselves and move on. But there's a tiny minority of Bernie fans, aka the guys who booed at Bernie for endorsing Hillary, who still can't accept that their guy lost.

My dad and I both were super excited to vote for Bernie (as Jews whose political views are Socialist leaning), and by the end of the primaries we were both embarrassed by him.

Not All Bernie Supporters but damn the shit you see on social media sometimes. like, IF AMERICA HAD REAL ELECTIONS, BERNIE WOULD WIN. Which ???? The elections were real. And a lot of Bernie's delegates were from caucuses which average like 4% turnout so it's literally like huh?

I agree with you. Managing to get pneumonia if having been sick and not resting and handling how many people is not exactly unusual. And I see no way it makes sense to announce that diagnosis other than "she just finally got diagnosed with pneumonia so we're sending Tim out so the candidate can actually freaking get some rest" or "all y'all who've been harping on the coughing fits, how many of you could handle this schedule WITH PNEUMONIA?"

Now that said, it would have been good for her campaign to have something ready like what I said above in case something visible happened as did yesterday.
