I live in Colorado and not okay with this amendment since it's a big ole "we'll pick some people who will figure out the details later". And the initial board of trustees who will be filling in the many blanks to create the system won't be elected, they'll be appointed. Could be a group of people with experience in health care, could be a bunch of people who have no clue what they're doing. And there's the thousands of people who will lose their job that the pro side doesn't want to address.

If they could provide more details then I'd feel more comfortable voting for it, but in it's current state nope.

There's a 1984 law in Colorado that prevents public funds and "its agencies or political subdivisions" from paying for abortions, so due to the fear that women would be denied access, some pro-choice groups came out against the law. I don't know how much of an impact this had overall, but it certainly didn't help.
