same to you bb <3 life definitely changed since my first episode. Florida is hopefully going to fully pass MMJ this fall so I can get it legally and much cheaper
You and me both! But I can honestly day my diagnosis is the best thing to ever happen to me. It put everything into perspective. I really do believe we'll see a cure in the next decade, theyre very close (Im obsessed with studies and clinical trials like a dork) I hope FL gets MMJ! It really does help many symptoms, it makes me sad sometimes that people doubt this.
I have to admit I have no idea how much weed costs, lol. What exactly is a "$45 8th" anyway?
I fully support the legalization of marijuana, but I don't have any plans to use it myself. I did smoke up a few times back in my college days, but in the intervening decades, both my parents died prematurely of smoking-related/exacerbated illnesses. Although I KNOW weed is a totally different substance from tobacco, the idea of inhaling ANY kind of smoke into my lungs is insurmountably disturbing to me at this point in my life.
Otoh, if it was readily available in a form that didn't have to be smoked....who knows, lol.
I don't smoke. I use marijuana every day for chronic pain but I vaporize (whether it be herb itself or oil) or I eat edibles
but I really would caution anyone who isn't a seasoned pothead against edibles. they are a LOT more powerful and long-lasting than simply smoking/vaping. it's not for beginners. unfortunately a lot of people go the edible route because they don't want to inhale smoke and I get it but MJ is definitely something you build a tolerance for and you need that tolerance to deal with the potency of edibles.
Not to stalk you in this post lol but have you tried the Korova bars? I have smoked for a decade and that shit puts me on my ass, it terrifies me that a new smoker might eat it.
I live in Portland and now and let me tell you as people who don't deal with pot at all my gf and I are often in hell. (Mostly because of the constant stench and because it's so culturally ingrained that people are more freaked out if you don't smoke than if you don't drink.)
I grew up in Oregon so I'm used to it but my gf is noooot from here and it's like the biggest culture shock to her.

The first time I had edibles I underestimated them completely, ate way too much, and pretty much just ended up sleeping for many hours. -_-
