I firmly believe they have the right to create that art but I also firmly believe it was in poor taste. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

This so much. Even those who refused to go along with the whole "je suis Charlie" thing didn't attempt to offend them while they mourned the deaths of those who had been murdered. They clearly don't understand, or don't care about, the difference between being provocative and provoking.
