Hillary Clinton has named a progressive with close ties to Elizabeth Warren to her transition team in a move that seems aimed at mollifying liberals unhappy with earlier choices.

oh lol well the headline is from the original source as per the rules, but the source has a pic of Clinton and Warren. I replaced it with a pic of Chopra since the article was about him but now I see how that could cause confusion oop sorry

Nice!

OP, are you watching the FL primary results?

in between watching baseball, yeah. Doesn't seem like anything surprising so far. Hopefully Murphy will take down Rubio. I do think he's a stronger candidate than Grayson and his baggage.

I also expect DWS to keep her seat even though there doesn't seem to be any results in for her yet.

I'm not looking forward to all the Rubio ads I'll have to endure for the next few months.

This dude sounds pretty darned cool. :-)

The choice may also indicate Clinton plans an aggressive approach to for-profit colleges and student loan companies if she is elected president.

That would be wonderful. That situation is such a mess and really needs attention.

this place is so lol to me. Its a battle between Hillary supporters and Hillary skeptics. Everything posted is a snapshot of that

It's why I've stopped coming here. I know it's election season and everything but there is more to talk about politically than a pissing contest between Hill supporters and this comms skeptics. It's draining.

It really is, and I hate it. I'm about at the point where I woukd actually welcome a moratorium on Hillary posts like the one the mods called a few months ago.

Of course, that time it was no Hillary OR  Bernie posts, because things were ping-ponging back and forth between posts supprting one or the other. I don't think we need a Drumpf moratorrium. We all hate him, so posts about him don't seem to faze any of us, lol.

But yeah, no Hill posts for at least a few days would sit rather well with me right now.
