Wow, she is vile.

Sadly, this has been a problem in FL for a long time. Juveniles, especially black kids, are being sentenced to life in gross levels of numbers in FL. And a good number of them are first time offenders and/or are solely accomplices, there was a huge article in one of my local papers years ago about it.

They are throwing kids away like they are animals that can't be rehabilited.

And its frustrating that it hasn't changed, save laws the federal government has passed down because fuck if our Republican run state cares about reforming shit in our justice system.

prosecutors success at their job is rated on how many trials they win so many of them will do just about whatever is necessary to get that win. even if it means shitting on witnesses or obscuring the truth or evidence or whatever. so yeah.
