what the fuck? like, i literally don't know what else to say. this is horrifying (and yet not surprising because it's been clear that the baltimore police force, for the most part, ain't shit and never has been) and i sincerely hope they manage to get that guy off the case, but i'm not holding my breath.

Can people be de-barred if it turns out that they hold extreme views like this that would prohibit them to represent clients/cross-examine fairly? I feel like that's something that should disqualify someone from practicing law.

He's been fired. He also says he hasn't had any ties to the group for 20 years, but it doesn't seem like he's going to fight being fired.

I'm not sure I agree with everyone in the article saying they need to do more vetting. How much should employers, government or not, dig into a person's past before deciding who to hire?
